Sustainable Materials Chemistry. 2015.

With this project we bring together research efforts with a focus on sustainable materials chemistry. Transformation of biomass and in particular waste biomass into fuels, porous polymers, and into advanced functional biomass-based composites.

 

Objectives:

• Exploring the use of zeolites/MOFs and porous polymers for the transformation of biomass
• Synthesizing porous polymers from biomass derived monomers/ biomass
• Modification of biomass for new applications.
