Chemical production from sustainable materials using heterogeneous catalysis. 2015.

Objectives:

• Design and synthesis of new heterogeneous catalysts based on metal-organic frameworks, including single site supported catalysts as well as metal nanoparticles.
• Study their application in catalytic reactions involving redox chemistry, and in C-C and C-X bond formation.
• Comprehensive synthesis of multi-functionalized MOFs, including studies of the mechanisms behind MOF functionalization with metal complexes.
