Basic research on heterogeneous materials. 2016.

- To develop and characterize materials with strong heterogeneous structures through plasma sintering and additive manufacturing approaches ;
- To investigate the properties of the developed materials, including residual stress, fracture resistance and chemical/phase stability;
- To understand the correlation of properties with processing conditions and microstructure evolution;
- To pursue the applications of the newly developed materials with deep structure heterogeneities.
